Ten Words...begin with "T"

1. TOLKIEN - If I had not read his books, I wouldn't be here, really. I'm sure you know what I mean.
2. TURQUOISE - My birth-stone. To be honest I was disappointed when I found out my birth-stone was not a sparkling gem. I was 6 or 7 years old then. Now I love it! I think it suits me very well.
3. THEATRICAL Plays - Before I met my husband, I never paid attention to them. After we moved in Abu Dhabi, my husband got his place in the British Amateur Drama Group. Since then he has been helping to build the scenery(s) or sometimes got some roles to act on stage. While we were in Doha, he and his drama friends liked to include me...So sometimes I helped to do make-ups for the actors and did some errands for the director.
4. TICKLISH - This is almost a handicap I've been suffering from since I was a child. Confessing my over-ticklishness to the masseuse or the hair dresser is always embarrassing.
5. TOM & JERRY - It is the show which made my son LOL the first time of his life. He was 20 months old then.
6. TRUE COLOURS (by Cindi Lauper) - I love this song, still brings tears to my eyes.
7. TOMATO - It's healthy and easy to grow. I had one episode with Tomatoes while we lived in Doha.
One day I was given a few of tomato plants by my friend, my gardener replanted and looked after them very well. One week later many tomatoes started appearing. Every single afternoon while I was tutoring at home, the gardener rang the doorbell to hand me over a dozen of tomatoes. A week later I told him that he didn't need to harvest them every day to give me, especially while I was working. After that day he stopped ring me...and no tomatoes in the garden! He kept harvesting and kept them for himself. Sometimes I was like 'I will take this one tomorrow, it might need a bit more of sunlight. *nods*' Then next day the tomato had been taken by the gardener already. I wonder how the single man ate up all the tomatoes in one summer, must've been hundreds.
8. TRAILER PARK BOYS - A Canadian mockumentary television series my son loves and strongly recommended us to watch. It's so different from anything I used to watch, but I like it...probably because there is this guy Bubbles who loves cats in this show. *giggles*
9. TULIP - During the summer after we moved in Toronto, I spent a lot of my time in our new garden. I love to have some flowers with nice petals and colours. I think Tulips will be very pretty in our front garden.
10. THANK YOU - Wonderful phrase, even young children can say it in some other languages as well.
