Dental Surgery...Dusty

kittyrefugeFebruary has not been a very happy month for me. *sighs*
∙ My husband got pickpocketed. That thief withdrew 1500 CAD from our bank account within 10 minutes before my husband noticed his wallet was gone.
∙ Dusty's chin swelled up like it had been stung by a wasp. She has got a chronic bacterial infection.
The first vet (Dusty's usual vet) told me that the cost for the surgery would be over $3000. OUCH!
And we lost $1500. Double OUCH.
Then, one of my friends recommended a vet who offered affordable services.
The recommended vet told me that the surgery would cost $1500, but it would be really risky procedure for a very old cat like Dusty.
Now I'm here praying.
This April, she will turn seventeen. Please let her be a seventeen year old cat...

The vet and I agreed that Dusty's being sick with nasty bone cancer would be too cruel. *sobs*
